Terms of Service

Welcome to Micropigmentation Educators, LLC (“MPE”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website located atwww.mpeducators.com, and the LMS platform www.mpeducatorsacademy.com, including all services, content, and digital products offered therein (the “Site”). By accessing or using our Site, purchasing a course, or interacting with our content, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Site or services.
1. Use of Site and Services
Micropigmentation Educators, LLC provides online educational resources for individuals pursuing knowledge in Permanent Makeup (PMU), Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP), and medical tattooing. Our courses are intended for educational purposes only and do not replace in-person technical training required to safely perform tattooing procedures.
You agree to use our Site and services in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
2. Training Policy
2.1 Online Training Is Not a Substitute
Online training does not replace the in-person education necessary to perform cosmetic tattooing or related procedures safely. Students must complete supervised, hands-on training to gain practical proficiency.
2.2 Limited Role of MPE
Micropigmentation Educators, LLC provides digital training resources only. We do not train students directly beyond the online materials. Hands-on training is provided by independently verified trainers. Students are responsible for selecting a trainer whose teaching style and personality match their preferences.
2.3 Refunds
Refunds will not be granted under the following conditions:
- Completion or access of the program regardless of pass/fail status
- Failure to complete the course due to illness, relocation, loss of interest, or personal decisions
- Course dissatisfaction if the student did not fully research the program or trainer suitability
2.4 Supplemental Training May Be Required
Due to varying skill levels, additional time and practice may be needed to master the art. The Phase I online course is designed as an entry-level commitment for students considering a career in cosmetic tattooing.
2.5 Accreditation Disclaimer
Micropigmentation Educators, LLC is not accredited by any state or federal licensing body. Our curriculum aligns with AAM and SPCP guidelines when used as intended. Students must ensure compliance with their state or local tattooing laws before practicing.
2.6 Payment and Services Scope
MPE does not process payments for hands-on or in-person training. Concerns regarding such transactions should be directed to the individual trainer.
2.7 Course Inclusions
Phase I Online Training includes:
- Digital and printed course manual
- Six-month online access (lifetime access when completing Phases II & III with a verified MPE trainer)
- Certificate of completion (non-accredited)
Excluded: Bloodborne pathogen certification, safety training, hands-on kits, or medical waste instruction unless supplied by the selected trainer.
3. Privacy Policy
Micropigmentation Educators, LLC is committed to protecting your privacy. By using our Site, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information as outlined in this Privacy Policy.

3.2 AI and Personalization Tools
If any artificial intelligence (AI) is used to tailor content or quizzes, you will be notified. These tools are supplementary and not responsible for grading or certifications.

3.7 Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such data, it will be deleted promptly.
4. Intellectual Property
All Site content—including course materials, manuals, videos, brand assets, logos, and graphics—are the intellectual property of Micropigmentation Educators, LLC. Content may not be copied, resold, taught, distributed, or reproduced in any form without prior written consent. Trainers licensed through MPE are granted limited use of course content under the terms of their licensing agreement. Unauthorized use may result in revocation of access, legal action, and damages.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Share your login credentials or access credentials with others
- Copy, reverse-engineer, or misuse content for unauthorized training use
- Use the Site for any unlawful or harmful purpose
- Misrepresent your affiliation with MPE or claim to be a verified trainer without approval
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination, legal action, and permanent removal from our platform. We reserve the right to revoke access without notice if abuse is detected.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Micropigmentation Educators, LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages—including but not limited to loss of revenue, profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses—arising from or related to:
- Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Site
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Site
- Any training outcome, student performance, or hands-on application of course content
- Any unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
- Any actions, errors, or omissions by independent trainers
All training is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Use of our courses and platform is at your own risk. We make no guarantees regarding your ability to obtain licensure, employment, or income as a result of completing training.
7. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Micropigmentation Educators, LLC, its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, and agents, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees and costs) arising out of or in any way connected with:
(a) your use or misuse of the Site;
(b) your violation of these Terms;
(c) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights;
(d) your interactions with any trainers or students associated with the platform.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
You agree that any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, your use of the Site, or any services provided by Micropigmentation Educators, LLC shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state or federal courts located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
If you reside outside Pennsylvania, you acknowledge and agree that Micropigmentation Educators, LLC may still bring legal action in your state or in another mutually agreed-upon jurisdiction if necessary to enforce these Terms or protect its rights.
9. Modifications
Micropigmentation Educators, LLC reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by email or prominent notice on the Site. Continued use of the Site after changes indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
